Work directly with the builder

Your team sets the rules.
We build around them.

Bring a process you already know. We agree what should change, build a working version and check it with your team before expanding.

How we work with you

Your process shapes
what we build.

Your team sets the rules. We build and test the software around them, with you involved throughout.

  1. Review your real work

Walk through one real example, the tools involved and the points where work slows down.

  2. Agree a first build

Agree the first deliverable, cost, schedule and what the finished process must do.

  3. Test it together

Work directly with the builder. Try a working version in regular reviews and check it against completed examples.

  4. Improve it over time

Agree how it enters use, who supports it and whether it uses your hosting or ours. Add further workflows when useful.

What we need from you.

One process owner, representative examples and the people who can approve the rules. Use anonymised examples where possible; agree a secure way to share anything sensitive.

What we handle.

Mapping the workflow, designing and building the agreed software, and preparing it for your review. We document responsibilities for data, connections, hosting, ownership and support before work starts.

Client work

Starter forms for three theatre businesses.

Specialist forms built for AG Theatrical Accounting, Playful Productions and Wessex Grove. Different requirements, with the same need to collect new-joiner details in a way that fits the work.

Before we begin.

Do we need to replace our existing systems?

Not necessarily. We start with the process you want to improve, then agree whether it needs a connection, an export or a separate tool. Compatibility and any migration are checked during scoping.

Who decides the financial rules and contract terms?

Your team and advisers approve those rules and templates. We implement the agreed process and test it against examples you have checked.

How much does a project cost, and how long does it take?

That depends on the process, the source data, connections and review requirements. We agree the first deliverable, price and schedule before development; there is no universal package or promised turnaround.

Who owns the software, and who supports it?

Ownership, source-code access, licences, hosting, maintenance and support responsibilities are set out in the project agreement. We can discuss managed hosting or deployment to your own environment.

What should we bring to a discovery call?

No preparation is required. If useful, have one spreadsheet, form or repeated task in mind. In 30 minutes we can talk through the process and identify what it would take to automate it.
