Work directly with the builder

Your team sets the rules.
We build around them.

You bring a process you already know. We build a working version and check it together before expanding.

Follow a project from start to finish
A working version, checked with your team.

You know the work.
We build around it.

Work directly with the builder, from your first example to a tool your team has tested.

  1. Show us the work

Walk through one real example, the tools involved and the points where work slows down.

  2. Agree the first useful change

We agree the scope, checks, cost and schedule before building. Your team knows what to expect.

  3. Try it with the builder

Review working software directly with the person building it. Test it against work your team has already checked.

  4. Put it to work

Agree hosting, support and updates before handover. Improve the next process when your team is ready.

Your part

You bring the work.

Choose a process owner and the people who can approve the rules. Bring representative examples, with personal details removed.

We agree how to share anything sensitive.

Our part

We build it with you.

We map the process, design the software and prepare a working version for your review.

We agree data handling, connections, ownership, hosting and support before work starts.

From our client work

Three theatre businesses.
Three starter-form builds.

AG Theatrical Accounting, Playful Productions and Wessex Grove each needed a better way to collect new-joiner details.

We built the forms around each team’s requirements.

A few practical questions

Before we begin.

Do we need to replace our existing systems?

We start with the process you want to improve, then agree whether it needs a connection, an export or a separate tool. Compatibility and any migration are checked during scoping.

Who decides the financial rules and contract terms?

Your team and advisers approve the rules and templates. We implement them and test the process against examples you have checked.

How much does a project cost, and how long does it take?

The scope depends on the process, source data, connections and review requirements. We agree the first deliverable, price and schedule before development begins.

Who owns the software, and who supports it?

Ownership, source-code access, licences, hosting and support responsibilities are set out in the project agreement. We can discuss managed hosting or deployment to your own environment.

What should we bring to a discovery call?

No preparation is required. If useful, have one spreadsheet, form or repeated task in mind. In 30 minutes we can talk through what it would take to automate it.
